It's only a month old Grimson.

I like this one though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OinY_Xr2zHg

Lets necro this even further!
My most elaborate rickroll involved me sending a 7" vinyl single of Mr. Astley's greatest hit via snail mail!

Only a 7"? Surely you should have sent the 12"/45RPM maxi-single instead :p
(I actually have that by the way. Picked it up at a flea market for 70 CZK, I'd rate it at EX-, soooooo worth it!)

Well I think a 7" is more fitting for a rickroll-by-mail :D

Got it at an used record store, they always had a box full of 7"s, 10 CZK for one... so I've always bought like 2-3 LPs and then a crapton of singles. When I saw Never Gonna Give You Up, I immediately knew what to do :]]
Shame the store doesn't exist anymore :(

Oh man. I bet there were some more amazing examples of the 80s cheesiness to be found there. And also communist era folk and Eastern German pop bands. :crazy

Yup, both!

You always had to sift through a lot of garbage, but hey, that was half of the fun!

Any time somebody tries to Rickroll me, I just listen to the song. Sometimes I just listen to the song without being Rickrolled; I have it in my list. I like it.

Now please take about 12 minutes out of your day to check out these three weird Rick Astley remixes I wrote about last year. That is, if you can stand to listen to 12 minutes worth of Never Gonna Give You Up remixed with completely unexpected yet surprisingly fitting songs.

I've once actually finished the entirety of Doom 2 with this mod. Not even mad.
