This really looks amazing and rightfully steals the show. I was a big fan of your other galaxy mod anyways so I'm gonna play this.

Was this to put to use the artwork you made for Dr. Colossus: The Temple of Cydonia?

Here is some good worldmap music by the hackercat:

I think you should use it because the worldmap music sounds to much like BM

I've played this in our metro during my travel. People were like "eh". Most of them didn't care what they were seeing on my screen, even if they sat next to me :lol

What are the chances to find another keener by doing this? :confused I'd say marooned :lol.

This is indeed really really nice!

I just bumped into a weird bug in the Emerald City.

(Sidenote: To my slight astonishment, my DailyMotion account that I haven't used in 7 years still exists!)

...is it intended that this Yorps cannot be stunned for a few seconds by jumping on them? or is it just a matter of patching?
I love these little buddies. somehow I feel like back in the days, you know, kind of traveling back 25 years from now, playing the original keen 1 for the first time with utterly excitement. I have grown and so does Keen. but one of us hasn't aged...

ps.: (likewise tileinfo bug)

Something I just whipped up real quick. How's it?

Update: tried running it through cmd directly and it crashed consistently. after doing a bit of poking around i've found that this laptop can't deal with programs executed and viewed within cmd, which also appears to include anything loaded into dosbox. So not only can i not convert this to imf, I can't listen to it or play Keen! :o

Oh this is nice. You should have sent me more issues, some of these patch up nicely.
What you really need, not what you think you ought to want.

Yes. Especially the mars surface and environment tiles are altered artwork from my last mod.

Cool. These songs fit perfectly in this mod. Thank you.

Fixed. Thank you.

Hmm strange. I have to see through the patches again why this happens. I will fix this.

The next version will contain the bug fixes and the new music.

I tried to patch this. I don't know if this is even possible to have a collision code for pushing Keen and to get temporary stunned when Keen jumps on it. But maybe when Keen uses his Pogo Stick.
I don't know. Levellass, what do you think?

il dottore,
Hanno creato un capolavoro estetico. splendida!

...while talking about patches: what about adding some flamy sounds to the upper top Pogo-Shrine spot (and to all the other fireplace of course)?
besides that, I think a small tileinfo mistake has slipped in.

Started playing this, and I already want to thank you so much for it.
It's not only fun and all - it's so sentimental...to see this old classic remade with such a talent in this advanced engine.
First Keen game I ever played it was...

Can't wait for the other parts. Especially Keen 3. Keen 2 for me was quite boring.

Thank you so so much. It's almost spiritual experience.

I wish the small domes were more useful this time. Like with more secrets with guns and points.

I'm glad they're not. They are supposed to be an atmospheric interlude. The shrine statues were enough to add to this without making them too cluttered.
