It may roughly hold for higher animals but especially when yo get to the world of insects it becomes problematic. If we're willing to entertain ants as feeling pain on a level with humans where does that put flyspray or even headlice shampoo?

On the other hand it's also misleading to think of all species being equal in terms of feeling pain. It may roughly hold for higher animals but especially when yo get to the world of insects it becomes problematic. If we're willing to entertain ants as feeling pain on a level with humans where does that put flyspray or even headlice shampoo?

Rarely do I feel this happy while doing C++. I think recursion is fun, at least until something goes horribly wrong later on. Now if only I could write some actually useful software...
