The difference between the raw image and that CRT picture Roobar posted is almost like day and night; it's amazing how it looks so good on a CRT!

I did another quick search in PixelJoint and found a cool mockup, posted by Elfwink in 2022:



Also, I fixed the image links in the last two posts I made on this thread (they're found in the previous page), so people don't have to go onto Twitter to see them. Aside from the first picture (the Christmas one with Keen being chased by a Dopefish), they are all made in 2023 and thus eligible for nomination in Keen Awards 2023!

Wow that's great usage of the VGA palette. What I wouldn't give to play a Keen game that looks like this one day... Reminds me strongly of Prehistorik 2's graphics.

Was searching through the web, trying to find Keen fanart to nominate for Keen Awards 2024, and I found this artwork by Narklos:



Kinda well-made, although I feel Keen looks older than 8. I think the extreme usage of lines contribute to that. The boots and socks are kinda neat, they provide a little more adventurous feel.

Aside from that, hoo boy you gotta see this! It's a piece of traditional art by Anthony Vaccarelli:



The colors are so beautiful! That Mad Mushroom looks so crazy, and that Poison Slug interpretation is very unique! The piece as a whole kinda reminds me of the fantasy illustrations from the mid-to-late 20th century (in fact, a lot of the artist's work has that sort of feel). I wish I could nominate this, but it was made in 2023, so I can't, unfortunately. *sigh* Why is that I keep finding nomination-worthy stuff like this when they're no longer eligible for a Keen Award?

As far as I can tell, all pictures on this page work for me.

The one with Keen in his pajamas... Is it suggesting that keens adventures might just be in his imagination based on the books and toys he has lying around?
