Keen Dreams Gold Edition dropped music poll
Keen Dreams Gold Edition dropped music poll
Hey, everyone! I've received feedbacks on Keen Dreams Gold music that there were very goods that I dropped (for memory restrictions of course). However, I feel this makes the game's mood boring if 1 tune is used for too many of the levels. But since I don't know what to bring back, that's why I've ended up creating this poll topic to vote: What dropped musics should be brought back for the next update.

Yeah, piece of cake!

My #1 pick would be Newpotato News, but the others are incredibly good too. My other main choices would be On Deep Point and Good Turnip, but Spittin' Seeds is also very good for some levels that have a somewhat foreboding feel to them.

I second Toothpick's remarks about "Good Turnip, Good Turnin'" and "Spittin' Seeds", although I also have a soft spot for "Stamp Em' Down!", which helped give Mushroom Mere a unique atmosphere.

Re: Keen Dreams Gold Edition dropped music poll
Like Syllypryde said, it would be nice to see all of these songs put back into the game. In the release thread K1n9_Duk3 says it's doable, and apparently messaged you on what it would take to do so. I personally think all the songs are really good, and having a wide range of songs gives each stage a more unique atmosphere and personality.
At this point, they've all been included in at least 1 version of this, and players have become attached to these tracks. Plus, it might deter people from playing the newer versions of Keen Dreams Gold if the tracklist has been scaled back.
By the way, I've been wondering: were these songs all created specifically for Gold Edition? I recognize a few of these tracks as Keen 9 leftovers, and some of the composers as former members on here.
