Commander Keen 6: best ways to solve Bloogton Tower with Impossible Bullet

Weirdly. the vertical shaft for the moving platforms from the very beginning is connected with one more gap above, so that a single Impossible Bullet jump from the beginning of this level enables going to almost the very top of the level, with only Red gem door and closed bridge remaining until the end of level with Rocket Keycard
(Also the red gem can be obtained by Impossible Bullet at the bottom-left corner - with green gem obtainable normally).
What are the best balances between spent bullets and avoided long walks could you get in this level? Excluding usage of clipping errors to jump through the walls to go into the rocket-keycard room without opening the red gem door and bridge)

While not precisely what you're looking for, I routed out Bloogton Tower to collect all points/vivas with glitches allowed. There's a small zip past the red door at the top, but if you don't have to collect the points past the first red door then naturally you can use the initial red gem for that purpose (or grab the second one: just need to hit the switch visible at 1:45 in the video, then go back to the central elevator where the Fleex is and collect the gem). The only necessary switch around the top area is the one placed much higher than the ground, which I simultaneously used as a one-use platform in the video.

A more streamlined approach, ignoring points, would be:
  1. Grab the red key to the left (it's the green gem that needs IBT, not red)
  2. IBT all the way up the central elevator section and above the blue door
  3. Move right, past the Blooguard, and IBT under the switch
  4. Fall onto the switch and use it to pogo to the area above, grabbing the ammo
  5. Defeat the Fleex and Blooguard on the left
  6. Fall to the left, then IBT to where the Blooguard was
  7. Finish the level
