NETKEEN: Multiplayer Keen Game

...You can play 2 Player Netkeen with one computer? I'm going to try this immediately! A quick setup is a huge boost for multiplayer games. Great cows, I love DosBox. Ever try playing Warcraft 1 multiplayer? It's hilarious.
Edit: Okay, so I tried getting this working on a single computer and had some outstanding errors. Really cool!

I got this to work a little better.

the level # just says 0
and i cant get to my level.

There's usually someone.
My only advice is to not go to the pckf one, as a racist Italian closet-fascist leads that board, and hence bans people due to his bad temper.

The best room by far is the netkeen room. Usually lemm or I am there. Sometimes others too.

Can you host netkeen? If you can that would make things easier. I think the key thing is to be able to forward ports.

Awesome, thanks for the tip. I can, I just need to get a handle on the command lines, haven't used dosbox before. Now that I do though I can get other classics while I'm at it.

Just lemm, everyone else was there but not there, if you get my meaning. Just as I thought it would - awesome, but it would be better if I had two others, and if I were better at it.

Has anyone considered added at least one AI to the mix?

I don't think AI would be easily programmable nor something we could still stuff into the engine to be honest. Heck if I'd want AI I'd go play the original keens. The reason why netkeen is so fun is that other players are playing and you know them and they're awesome.
