Shadowlands - Kick Lick, Crazy Now on YouTube!!!

Post by Sillygostly »

You can now check out TMST's totally pwnsome spoof of Shadowlands on YouTube... (as I managed to convert it to an uploadable format) :)

I tried converting the first two episodes as well, but alas, the audio and video were completely out of sync. :(

Enjoy! :D

Luckily I remembered CK Guy recently said somewhere he has them stored in bipship, otherwise I would've been clueless. Here: http://files.bipship.com/old/shadowlands/

Remember that the first two were made by Ilsoap, and this third as a joke/prank by TMST. ;)

Also, all three are still on Beyond the Pogo. Except for the episode 2 preview, which is afaik only on Ilsoap's original page - amazingly still up and running here: http://www.angelfire.com/emo/shadowlands/

EDIT. Hahaha, 'the horrendous events of March 14', never noticed that line until now.

EDIT AGAIN. Here are the three episodes on dosclassics:

http://dosclassics.com/download/244

EDIT AGAIN AGAIN. iirc, that subliminal sga message mentioned in the youtube comments says 'worship the slug.'

Haha, I remember seeing the first two when they were new, but never having seen TMST's spoof third episode. That's a pretty spot on spoof, and I actually mistook it for a canon third episode until the credits. Speaking of the credits, does anyone by any chance have an MP3 of the song playing during them? That's the first lyrical remix of a Commander Keen song I've ever heard and I am really digging it.

That's actually a Dr. Demento song, "Take Me Away", with the piano added by TMST. Here's a rip of it from the Youtube video, though I'm sure you could extract a better quality version from the original Flash file.

Oh, really now? That's really interesting. It really fits with the Keen stuff that's been mixed in with it, and it seemed silly enough that it could have been an original work.

Indeed, it's a brilliant song. TMST did a great job of mixing it with the Keen soundtrack. I downloaded the song shortly after seeing the film (wow, such a long time ago), and now line it up in my playlist at parties and meme it into other people's collections. I'm yet to find anyone who can honestly say they dislike it.

I also recommend the Neuroticfish EBM remix (and Neurotic fish in general FWIW), which sounds even better at parties.
