[coder needed] BomberKeen - public thread
Hi,
For those who are new - "BomberKeen" is a project that brings Commander Keen universe (normal and extended) into "Bomberman" gameplay and engine.
It's being developed by Dr. Kylstein (coding) and myself (art) - on a private dev. forum. This is the public thread of that project.
"BomberKeen" DOS version by Dr. Kylstein - Beta 1:

At this point - we have 31 characters made in a basic spritesheet (20 frames each) - 11 of them - as extended (full) spritesheet (56 frames each) to support future actions and powerups.
We also have 18 themes made artwise.
Despite our current goals for the project being relatively limited - potential/planned possibilities if this project/engine are endless - including different game modes, unique creature powers, new power-ups, story modes, traps - and what not.

Who knows - maybe even net multiplayer.
And if we'll manage to move it from DOS to SDL or such - it'll give us more memory, possibilities.

(probably DC...because they have the DAMN BATMAN )
Extended Lick frames made.
Base Captain America frames made. For all the Marvel fans who were envy of the Flash character.
Martinez McMeyer (extended frames) is now added.
"BomberKeen" now supports up to 50 characters - all of which - are easy customizable/addable - for custom characters and mods.
Bernie, Ceilick - if you want characters of your famous Keen mods in this engine (unofficial TUIT and such - beyond ones already inserted) - help making the relevant frames.
If someone wants to contribute more characters - we are open for submission. You can use released art for 8bit palette used in "BomberKeen", can send you spritesheet format as well.
If people know some famous recolored Keen clone characters - list your wishes - and provide the pic of particular character/recoloring.
