So all this time Camoto was actually a secret MB project. I KNEW it!

Ceilick said some stuff
Thank you. I will heed this good advice at a time when finishing the title screen is less daunting and working on tile-sets is less enticing. :pumpkeen

Ol' walnut bladder is saving it for use as an in-level weapon.

This looks great. The title image is good so far, keep up the improvements. :drool
I feel that the haunted Christmas theme will be pretty interesting for Monster Bash. Definitely looking forward to it. :)

Update:
Malv has made significant improvements to the level editor, so level 1 is nearly finished and is beatable.
I made backdrops for level 1 and level 2, working on some more tilesets.
Lemm figured out sprites and they are now editable, so I've been working on some new sprite replacements and contemplating new character designs.
Did some work on the actual storyline.

Oh yeah, this (these) is(are) the mod(s) you were talking about! I completely forgot, forgive my stupid head :(

The progress is sounding good.

Just so everyone knows, the mod is not canceled, but indefinitely delayed.

The original goal was Christmas of this year... After my PC crashed, my files and mind became unorganized, and it kind of hindered me from meeting that deadline.

I won't set any dates, but a Fall 2014 release is probable. I still love this project, and what's done so far shows potential.

The good news is that Emberheart Games is working on Monster Bash HD.

Not sure that qualifies as good news (in fact, it looks worse to me). If all they're doing is taking a wonderful game and changing the backgrounds and HUD, count me out.

Monster Bash was always a pain to edit. I'm making some progress on my Camoto rewrite and when I get to adding Monster Bash I hope to do things a little differently this time around to make editing the levels much easier.

I only know of one mod for Monster Bash (listed on the ModdingWiki Monster Bash mods page) and I'm impressed it has as many levels as it does considering how tedious level editing is with the old Camoto.

Ah, I remember this topic! It's been a long time!

I haven't heard anything about this since the last post of this topic. According to Paramultart's user profile, he hasn't been here since 2015. I'm not sure what he's up to now. His profile doesn't include any contact information and searching "Paramultart" on DuckDuckGo doesn't bring up anything recent. VikingBoyBilly, who seems to be like his closet friend, was here very recently! He's also on DeviantArt! Maybe he knows.
