All freeware Keen downloads, modding tools and mods together

Post by SupFanat »

The manner how the downloads are stored on KeenWiki is useless.

If would make more sense to have a single page, where all Keen downloads lie together. It's almost impossible to find the most modding tools - are all lost.

I would try to search a hosting - just send every Keen modding tool or mod, what you have to me per E-Mail.

Here a page for the modding tools.

They are lost from KeenWiki, but if they don't overcome total size 100 MB, I can store them on my page. A solution for all downloadable files for Commander Keen isn't available yet, but at least for the modding tools.

Yeah, kinda frustrating when things aren't organized. But maintaining a giant wiki with thousands of pages and downloads is more than any one person can do! This page has most of the tools you'll ever need:

I can host the modding tools (everything - Vorticons and Galaxy), if I find them.

OK here is another copy of Keen Galaxy Modding Package.zip.

If the tools aren't organised very well, maybe you can come up with some suggestions of ways to organise them better?

The list of Vorticon tools for instance is broken up into subcategories, like audio editors or level editors, but does this not help when you are looking for something in particular?

Maybe if we know what you are trying to look for and where you went to look for it, we can understand what needs to be fixed.

A single page to download all the Commander Keen stuff (except to Keen 2/3/5/6) - were simplier to manage and to backup.

Just one site needs to be working - and all downloads are available. Were useful.
