Looking for the name of an old booter PC game between 1980 and 1983 (Defender / Frogger / Lode Runner era). Booted it off a 5 1/4 floppy.
In the game you flew a plane or space ship through a canyon and all you did was move the cursor to target the enemy ship before it got too close to you. It was first person view and the ground was animated to look like you were moving forward. I cant remember if it was a checkerboard pattern or not. The ground was flat, with walls that went up about half the screen and then flat again.
Not sure if Monochrome or just CGA. Only played it on an old green screen display.
The only thing I remember of the sound was it making a long "Arrrrrrrrr" sounding noise that had 2 tones moving in opposite directions.
I've looked through a list of PC booter games but didn't recognize it.
