Aaaah officer Bowowitz, interesting guy. Family man, three kids, youngest is a bit weird, keeps running around with a Jacks helmet on and fighting with officer Barkmeyer's kid. Oh to be eight years old again...

So did anyone notice that the officer is wearing mind control belt in the last panel? I didn't want too be to obvious about it, but in hindsight I guess I could have done something to call more attention to it. The whole "please" thing was supposed to be a callback to strip #66, but considering that comic was published 9 months ago and the belt itself hasn't been around since #68 which was all of 8 month ago, refreshing people's memories probably would have been smart.

Anyway, now we have the final strip in this story arc. After this I'm going to post a drawing, but other than that I'm going to take a break from the strip for a while to work on some other projects. I'm glad everyone -- from what I can tell -- has enjoyed it, and I appreciate all the great feedback. I'll be back eventually, but hopefully it won't be another 4-year break this time. ;)

That's pretty much what I figured. People seem to be surprisingly accepting of the comic regardless, so maybe I'll just call the belt an "Easter egg" and be done with it. ;)

Or just put some SGA text in saying 'Notice the belt!' Keen fans will be unable to resist decoding it.

It's so beautiful

Hope you're not gone for too long! Seriously, this is some of the best Keen fandom material ever done. It'll be sorely missed until next time :)
