When I saw the trailer for the first one, it just looked like a rip-off of Jumanji to me, but once I watched it, it was better than I expected. It's still a B movie (or B-, lol), but not worse. And I like Ben Stiller as an actor and I think he made it better.
But the sequel seems to follow that classic sequel formula of "same story, different place or characters". But I can't judge it until I've seen it.

I thought Zathura was the sequel to JumanjiLava89 wrote:When I saw the trailer for the first one, it just looked like a rip-off of Jumanji to me
For most of my life all I've known about indiana jones was that iconic boulder scene in the aztec temple. I thought the whole movie was about hunting for treasure in a mesoamerican pyramid. Then I saw it, and the whole mesoamerican temple thing lasted 5 minutes, and the rest of the movie was in Egypt (But Egypt is still very awesome)
Then in the new movie it dived full-fledged into the mayan pyramid thing filled with booby traps he's famous for, but the thing with all the aliens from other dimensions and an 18-year old son he never even knew about... idunno... it seemed kinda strange to me
lol, is this a little bit off-topic? The stuff about museums and jungles kinda makes me think of him
