I found what I guess is a hack, of sorts...if I run the mod, not through the batch file but through the KEEN1 EXE, then I have access to all the cheats and can explore all the levels with impunity!

Except...of course, doing it that way makes the tiles go all funny and most of the levels become unbeatable because the exit doors aren't exit doors any more. So, it's a pretty weak method of cheating, but it at least gives a general idea of what later levels look like. I guess... :crazy

I played the game using the cheat codes (and it was still very, very difficult to pass the levels) and looked around a bit.
I just have to say that it's just not doable for me. And I really don't like the level design and the new graphics.
I know you put a lot of effort in this mod and I don't want to have a go at you. It simply is no mod for me.
For the storyline in keen -6, well, I see it as a parody, some kind of gag (and I hope it is). I don't think that religion and gaming fits together very well.
The good thing is that if you are serious about this, no one will receive it because he won't be able to get past the first level. :p

Conclusion: Too hard, too odd for my taste.

Aw, garg, what's wrong with me? >: Now the Maze is impossible with SP1. Garg, now I've got a few things lined up for SP2... like pop-up hint things, fixing the Maze (again), and a few graphic and patch fixes. :dead
